A major ‘multi-media’ exhibition was the highlight of the local Festival.
The exhibition was called ‘A Capability Brown Experience’. The show included a new film featuring John Phibbs, the international expert on Brown, as narrator; artwork by Royal Academician Stephen Farthing; artist and author Tim Scott-Bolton; eleven artists from Dorset Visual Arts, embroidery from the National Guild, interactive digital imagery, photography from a range of leading photographers, and games for children. The theme of ‘enjoyment of landscape’, was added to ‘built heritage, and enhancement of quality of life’.
